LOOKING BACK ON THE FLOOD

In February 2019, Plattsmouth suffered a very bad flood that destroyed a great deal of property including the water treatment plant. Many houses were flooded and cattle were

killed. Different parts of the city were under water restrictions. Last November, the water treatment plant began working better but not to full capacity. The water quality has gotten much better since the flood, and we are thankful things have returned to normal.
